Years of experience have taught EKC that to ensure the easy release of all your stressing bed grips, lubrication is paramount. This avoids unnecessary damage to the grips
due to operator enthusiasm when cleaning. In order to ease grip release EKC offer 2 solutions:
- After cleaning we recommend that the grips be submerged in Grip Release Agent. This operation should be repeated after every two prestressing operations. The performance
and life of the grips will be greatly improved by this simple operation.
EKC can supply a purpose made basket and container for applying the wedge release agent.
- EKC Grip release spray is available in aerosol cans to ensure the correct lubrication of internal jack wedges and/or stressing grips.
